Optimism and Energy are her Trademarks

Newspaper article from The Palm Beach Post, Sunday, December 30, 2007

If there's one thing we learned from Carol Dubinsky's entry into the real estate world 23 years ago, it was that she had no fear: "I just jumped in," the Massachusetts transplant told us. "First [real estate] test I ever took was for a broker's license and, immediately upon passing, I opened my own office. Talk about naive! But it got me on my way. And I never looked back."

Of course, it's not hard to understand how Dubinsky became so successful. Describing herself as a "cup-is-always-half-full person," Dubinsky explained her professional approach thusly: "Tenacious, organized and dedicated to my buyers and sellers. Their goals are my only priority. Nothing is impossible."

To reach their goals, Dubinsky urges both buyers and sellers to "listen to your Realtor and be open to his or her advice."

Buyers, she said, should "be upfront with what your price point is and what you're looking for."

Sellers need to understand the importance of "being realistic in your pricing."

Dubinsky's natural optimism has also served her well in her own personal real estate journey, because she's been displaced from her Singer Island condo since Hurricane Frances and Jeanne hit in September 2004. But, typical of her upbeat nature, as she awaits the go-ahead to move back in, she said she and her fellow residents "have made it."
